It's our 100th Update and our Second Anniversary!!!
Welcome to the update at Whispers of the Muse,

Over two years we have had 100 updates with an
average of 11 NEW pieces per
update! The Muse displays nearly 500 pieces on over 1500 pages, all
designed by Natalie for beauty, ease of reading and navigation. We have had 99 installments of the 1876 Manor Chronicles and numerous Chronicle Fly on the Wall
Sidebars to fill you all in on important things going on away from the Inn. We have instituted and developed the Celestial Series, with novel length
stories (like Thorne in Archangels Surrender and The Guardian Warrior, and Wade in Lucifer's Guide) bringing the element of the Spiritual into our wonderful Crowe characters. We have
13 (and growing) Crowe characters in our unique and exclusive Another Take series … as well as many fan fiction pieces focusing on non-Crowe characters.
Whispers of the Muse hosts 22 wonderful writers … 18 collaboratives (many
ongoing pieces) and 63 stand-alone Crowe fanfiction stories. We feature Erotica and Literary as well as Poetry and Screenplay pieces and artwork in the Galleries. And we're thrilled to also
show our past and proudly display wonderful work from Isobel's
Lair, where Natalie and I began our fanfic 'career'. It's been a delightful journey and we have several exciting plans for the future!
Our Yuku Board Playground will evolve again, LOL. We've
chosen to shift to the Blogging Format, watch for it by mid
September. We have exciting projects on the horizon too. Watch for a strange fanfic of a fanfic entitled "Sympathy for the Devil" which will begin before the end of the year in the Celestial Series. Oh yeah, there are more
surprises, but we'll keep those close to the vest for now.

In the Celestial Series, Terry
Thorne continues in an all NEW The
Guardian Warrior pt. 24 by Riley. Helping Terry survive his ordeal is the name of the game
for Sara and Paul, but getting Terry out of there, safe and breathing is Dino's primary objective.

Longs, Dominic Maloney returns with an
all NEW Time of
the Season pt. 8, by Jessie. Dominic and Georgia explore far more than the pleasures of their bodies as they spend precious moments connecting
on several levels.
Cort returns to Another Take in the NEW "Reluctant Outlaws" pt. 1 by
Riley. Eighteen months had passed but little had changed. Cort is still on the run, but he has more than a wing and a prayer on his side.
Richie Roberts continues in Another Take in the NEW "Counsel for the Defense" pt. 5 by Riley. Zack Grant pulls a fast one as Richie helps Clair prepared for the lawsuit of the decade.
Ben Wade moves ahead in Another Take this week in the all
NEW "Digging Graves" pt.
6 by Riley While Rolanda deals with Jimmy's discovery about Ben, Cort takes spiritual
instructions to get the stranger where he belongs. Once again, the kindness of strangers takes care of Ben Wade.
The 1876 Manor Chronicles continues this
week with the NEW "The
Renaissance", pt. 8 by the Chronicles Collaborative. Lachlan fesses up to Jessie about his wealth; Antony makes
a big decision; Cory scares the Inn residents; Riley hears from Terry; Jeff
Mitchell considers sticking around Vermont; Daisy does a little
investigation; and John learns of some serious possibilities
that force him to make a decision. Ben Wade won't be the
only man running for office in Stowe Vermont. Be sure to check out Terry in his sidebar!
We have a NEW Chronicles
Fly on the Wall Sidebar this week! Terry in "Rehab
Hell" pt. 4 by Riley. Terry faces the ultimate deconstruction of his psyche when his body rebels and forces
him to suffer the flu. What he learns and discovers as his fever burns just might pave the way for full recovery and a life worth living.
Starting this week in Literary
Longs, check out the all NEW novel "Spellchek" chapter 4 by Skip and Riley! How many twists and turns can explode Trenton's life into
the unimaginable past he's been trying to expunge? And when will Sophia ever learn that she has no life outside the Familia?
Jackie's Literary Long continues with the NEW "Meant to Be" chapter 7. Even great distance
can't comfort Taz as Quentin travels to the other side of the world … taking her heart right along.
